The Relationship Between Tradition and Liturgy – Bishop Athanasius Schneider

Bishop Schneider defines liturgy, Scripture, and Sacred Tradition, and shows how they all are essentially dependent on one another. He teaches how to evaluate which magisterial teachings must be believed. The bishop uses quotations from St. Augustine of Hippo, St. Vincent of Lerins, and St. Thomas Aquinas, along with the writings of Dom Prosper Gueranger, to provide guidelines for anyone, priest or layperson, in the face of the Protestantized state of the non-traditional liturgy and of recent departures from the traditional teachings and practices of the Church.
