Question 39 – How Do We Avoid Getting An Abortion-Tainted Vaccine?

Interview Organization: Confraternity of Our Lady of Fatima
Interviewer Name: Christopher P. Wendt
Parents must take all necessary steps to prevent their children from receiving abortion-tainted vaccines, as indirect participation can harm their souls. While receiving such a vaccine does not constitute a mortal sin due to remote involvement, it is still a serious matter. Parents must act with a clear conscience and prayer, and if faced with pressure, they should prioritize their moral integrity over potential consequences.

Transcript:

The parents will have to take all necessary steps to prevent receiving this vaccine-tainted abortion. As I have previously stated, the seriousness of our indirect participation in the promotion of this vaccine is harmful to our souls. Children are particularly sensitive and naive when it comes to these issues, I’d prefer to focus on them. Parents have a serious responsibility to ensure that their children’s souls are saved. It is also within the scope of their duties to defend their children from anyone who might harm their innocent souls, particularly the government.

Furthermore, I am unable to provide a general response because it is up to the parents to determine what is best for their children with their clear conscience as well as the assistance of prayer. However, if they choose to receive this vaccination tainted by abortion, it does not constitute a mortal sin because of the remote involvement; however, I would like to emphasize how serious this indirect participation is.

In my opinion, it will not be a mortal sin. In certain situations, one is put to the test. For instance, a parent may be required by his or her employer to receive the abortion-tainted vaccine; if he/she declines, he/she risks losing employment.  If the father becomes a living witness of his faith and truly cares for his soul, he would risk living a life of poverty rather than compromise his morals. We sincerely hope it will not reach this point.
