Bishop Schneider emphasizes that the essential purpose of angels and humans is to glorify and adore God. Humans are inherently liturgical beings, and the Church’s task is to prioritize prayer and the Holy Liturgy, giving God primacy over actions or activism, reflecting the core of spiritual life.

It is to adore and glorify God. This is the aim, why God created angels and man, reasonable creatures, to glorify Him. Therefore, we are essentially liturgical beings. Our existence is liturgical in the broader sense, to glorify and adore God, to give Him the first place. This is the task of the church: to adore God in a worthy manner, to give Him priority, the primacy, as the Apostle said, to prayer, and not to our actions or activism, but first to prayer and to official worship, which is the Holy Liturgy.
