Bishop Schneider emphasizes that women’s mission in the Church is to support it with their feminine characteristics, not to serve at the altar or read Scripture during Mass. He warns that allowing women in liturgical roles promotes feminism and could lead to women in the priesthood, stressing that true Catholic women follow Mary’s humble example.

Bishop Schneider: The women will fulfill their mission as Mary, to be the loving heart and to support the church with their true feminine characteristics. The women, the ladies, should not be more involved during Holy Mass, acting at the altar first. I think that they should not be acolytes or altar servers, or even lectors reading the Holy Scripture during Holy Mass in the sanctuary. It is contrary to the apostolic tradition, to the entire tradition of the Catholic Church. It gives a sign of introducing feminism into the core of the liturgy of the Holy Mass, a kind of promotion of giving women access, step by step, to the holy ministry. First acolyte, and then, of course, when it is acolyte, why not Deacon? And when Deacon, why not priest? It is logical. And when priests, why not a Bishop? And when Bishop, why not Pope? It is really not a joke. It is the logical consequence.

The Anglican Church, which is now in Canterbury and has the so-called Lady Archbishop, what a Canterbury is this? But I think that they are consequential. The Anglican Church is not to be admired; it is astonishing that the Anglican Church now has a lady Archbishop of Canterbury. It is logical. It is clear: when they started with altar girls, it would end in a lady Archbishop. And when we started, we started with altar girls. Now, so many years later, unfortunately, even John Paul II allowed it, and now Pope Francis officially introduced the institution of acolytes for women liturgically. And then in the Catholic Church, the logical consequence would be a lady Pope. We must stop this feminism in the altar room. A true Catholic girl and woman would never go to the altar during Holy Mass, never. Those who are doing so are all misled or falsely guided by priests, simply misled with good intentions.

I appeal to these ladies: please step down and reflect again. Would you imagine that Our Lady would go to the altar and act as an altar lady and reader on the pulpit? Never. Never imagine it. In her unspeakable humility and modesty, she was always on the side in all aspects of life. She was the Queen of Heaven, the Mother of God. She would never do this because she was conscious that this mission was not for the female sex. She was the mother, and so her mission was to be the heart, not to display herself, but to be the heart. This is more powerful for the church.

The women will fulfill their mission as Mary, to be the loving heart and to support the church with their true feminine characteristics: motherly, bridal, and this every girl must have. This Catholic girl must have this basic sense of maternity, even when she is a virgin or will be a religious sister. She must keep this sense of maternity like Our Lady. This is so clear, and therefore, we must reform this.
