Bishop Athanasius Schneider, O.R.C., the auxiliary bishop of Astana, Kazakhstan, and a member of the Canons Regular of the Holy Cross of Coimbra, joined Father Edward Hathaway, the Rector of the Basilica of Saint Mary, and Father David Dufresne, Father Joseph Townsend, and Father Noah Morey and the Basilica’s Schola, led by David Elliott, at the Basilica on Friday night for a Holy Hour with Solemn Vespers. Bishop Scheinder also shared an inspiring reflection, reminding those in attendance of the primacy of Christ the King.
