Question 54 – What Should I Do If I Got An Abortion-Tainted Vaccine?

Interview Organization: Confraternity of Our Lady of Fatima
Interviewer Name: Christopher P. Wendt
Date: September 14, 2021
When your conscience is troubled, it indicates wrongdoing. If unsure whether you acted with full knowledge or under pressure, it may not be a mortal sin due to limited consent. However, it remains imperfect. Always confess such acts, and be cautious of priests who might downplay your concerns in confession.
If you like what we do and want to regularly support our mission to build the Reign of Mary and/or assist the episcopal ministry of Bishop Athanasius Schneider, please consider becoming a Servant of Mary.

Transcript:

When your conscience is troubled, it means that what you did was wrong; otherwise, your conscience would be at peace. Therefore, you must confess if there is already a sign that something is wrong. I'm not sure if you did this with full knowledge or under pressure, but if you didn't have full knowledge or were under pressure, it's not a mortal sin because your consent was limited.

However, it remains an imperfect act. There are acts that we confess in confession that are not necessarily mortal sins because we strive to be witnesses of a perfect Christian life. So, when you are compelled, please confess this. Unfortunately, some priests will make trouble in the confessional and will try to convince you that you did a good job; so, be careful to whom you go to confession.
