Bishop Schneider describes living in a predominantly Muslim country where widely shared images of Rome’s actions caused shock among Muslims, Orthodox Christians, and Protestants. They questioned why the Pope appeared to promote LGBT organizations. Bishop Schneider insists that people worldwide clearly perceive this message and believes the Pope must correct it.

Of course, without doubt, I live in a predominantly Muslim country, and all these pictures were all over the world in all social news, also in Muslim countries. We also have a huge part of Orthodox Christians. They were astonished. They were scandalized.

They came to me and said, What is Rome doing? What is the Pope doing, promoting LGBT organizations? These Muslim people, Orthodox Christians, and Protestant Christians. They were questioning other Catholics and me. And it is so evident we cannot simply sophistically hide these and say no, people are seeing all the world. We're seeing this message and understanding it. So it must be corrected by the Pope.
