Though difficult, once a month, individuals can try to receive Holy Communion on the tongue, at another location. If not possible, a devout Spiritual Holy Communion is acceptable. This is similar to the times of persecution, like during the Soviet era, when access to priests and Communion was limited.

It is difficult, but once a month, they can try to make a sacrifice by driving to some other place where they can receive Holy Communion on the tongue. If it is not possible, they can do a Spiritual Holy Communion with devotion; I think these will be accepted by our Lord since it is an extraordinary case.

For example, during the persecution times or in the Soviet Times, even if it was a first Friday, it was difficult to receive Holy Communion because there were no priests available. In this case, I think our situation is similar to that of the persecution times.
