Question 300 – Is the Ordinariate of the Chair of Saint Peter, approved by Pope Benedict XVI, valid?

Interview Organization: The Confraternity of Our Lady of Fatima
Interviewer Name: Christopher Wendt
Date: September 13, 2024
The Ordinariate Mass, approved by the Church, is valid as it incorporates traditional elements missing in the Novus Ordo, making it, in some ways, an improvement. There are no reasons to doubt its validity.

Of course, why should it not be valid? It was approved by the Church, and to my knowledge, there are no elements that would make it doubtful. Even the so-called Ordinariate Mass is, in fact, better than the Novus Ordo Mass because it incorporates elements from tradition that are lacking in the Novus Ordo. In this sense, it can be considered an improvement over the Novus Ordo Mass.
