Every Catholic father is, in a way, a kind of Joseph. There is no better example of a Catholic father than St. Joseph, because God gave us this man as a model not so much through words, but through his example. He showed true paternal goodness that children could trust, a goodness that protects, guides, and quietly leads by living a holy example.
Like St. Joseph, a Catholic father’s role is to embody that steadfast care and gentle strength, so that his children feel safe, loved, and inspired to grow in faith.
