If you like what we do and want to regularly support our mission to build the Reign of Mary and/or assist the episcopal ministry of Bishop Athanasius Schneider, please consider becoming a Servant of Mary.
Well, I think that since these two women live in such a scandalous, un-Christian style of life, a so-called marriage, which is not a marriage but a sinful union and against nature, persisting in this situation and having a child, it would not be correct for the Church to give baptism in this context. To do so would at least implicitly acknowledge their sinful lifestyle and promote these same-sex unions, which is not appropriate.
However, when they are relatives of the child, they should pray for him so that when the child reaches the use of reason, he himself can ask for baptism and decide for himself. It is the responsibility of the relatives to accompany the child with prayer and instruction so that, when he is of proper age, he will request baptism on his own, not the so-called couple.
