Bishop Schneider said people should respond with prayer, sacrifice, and trust in God’s grace for conversion. He emphasized loving the person without approving sin, correcting them with patience and clarity, and warning them of spiritual danger. He stated that true happiness and freedom come from accepting God’s grace and commandments.

If you like what we do and want to regularly support our mission to build the Reign of Mary and/or assist the episcopal ministry of Bishop Athanasius Schneider, please consider becoming a Servant of Mary.

Well, first, of course, prayer in this case. We cannot force a person into these decisions. Only grace can touch the heart, but we must implore God's grace that this person, in time, opens his heart to let the grace of God enter, so that it may illuminate him and give him the divine force and power to transform his soul, to love God, and to obey His commandments, the supernatural power to live according to God's commandments.

Because the Lord says, “He who loves Me observes My commandments.” This is the love of God, to take God seriously and to love Him. So we have to implore through prayer, even if it takes a long time. It is worthwhile, at least, that this person may die repentant. Then we will have helped save his soul. Therefore, we must pray with much trust and perseverance and even make sacrifices for this soul.

And of course, we must show him our love, but without approving the sins or this sinful lifestyle. We should try to explain to this person, with patience, love, and clarity, that he is in error. When there is a sick person who is obviously sick, and you deny it and say, “Oh, you are not sick,” that is cruel because you are supporting the sickness. It is not helping the person, and he then lives in an illusionary world.

So in this case, we must approach these people with love and patience, but also with complete clarity, saying lovingly, “You are in great danger. You are in great error and deception. You are living in an illusion. You are damaging your soul. You are offending God, who loves you so much, who died for you and shed His blood for you. You prefer your own will and your passions, but you can overcome them with God's grace. It is possible. Then you will be happy and free.”

The only way to be happy and free is to embrace God's grace and His commandments.
