Question 83 – How Can We Find Good Holy Priests?

We must pray for God to send us good priests, as they are a special grace and gift. While all priests should be exemplary, human weaknesses and Church crises make this rare. We must pray for the return of good priests and for more vocations to ensure future priests.

We have to pray that God will send us a good priest again. It is a gift from God to have a good and exemplary priest. It is not an everyday phenomenon, I think it is a special grace. Of course, in the priesthood, every priest should be exemplary. He is obliged to be as such.

However, with human weaknesses and some crises in the Church today that are so strong, we do not have much, but thanks be to God, we still have exemplary priests. When they are taken away by death or by other causes, we have to pray to God that He will send again a good priest.

We should also pray for more vocations, that boys and young men will, in several years, become new good priests.
