Well, I'm not very informed about Zionism, so I cannot speak on that topic. And generally, I don't speak about politics it is not the primary task of a bishop.

But spiritually, we must care about and be concerned for the salvation of the Jewish people. We must pray and work so that they may convert and come to believe in Jesus Christ as the only Savior. The Jewish people cannot be saved without explicit faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. There is no other way for the salvation of the Jewish people of Israel than faith in Jesus Christ and entering the Church the Catholic Church which is the true Israel, as Saint Paul says.

For this, we must pray and work. The other considerations political or worldly aspects are outside my competence, and I am not able to speak about them.
