Question 24 – I Am a Nurse. They Are Forcing Me To Get The Abortion-Tainted Vaccine. What Do I Do?

Refusing the vaccine is crucial because it implicates one in the murder of an innocent child, even if remotely. This participation is material cooperation in a heinous crime, akin to idolatry or cannibalism. Following one's conscience, as St. Thomas More did, requires rejecting such cooperation, even at great personal cost.

You cannot receive this vaccine in any case, this is impossible. How can you collaborate with such a heinous crime as the murder of a child, even if only one child was murdered? This child was murdered cruelly by abortion. Even when done remotely, the cruel murder of an innocent child paved the way for the development of vaccines, so your participation technically falls under material cooperation. In this case, your evil cooperation, though material, is somehow contributing to these horrible concatenations, which started with a heinous crime.

This is unlike any other existing so-called cooperatives or cases of so-called beneficiaries of bad actions. This is proportionally impossible. This is an extraordinarily monstrous crime. In the context in which we live every day, there is increasing industry and fatal technology, which is ultimately a kind of cannibalism. This is indeed cannibalism. We have to call things by their names; we cannot hide behind euphemisms, and this is ultimately cannibalism.

 When your conscience tells you that something is wrong, you cannot go against your conscience. You have to be ready to lose all earthly things rather than commit something against your conscience. We should follow the example of St. Thomas More; he was ready to lose everything, including his job as Lord Chancellor, his reputation, his friends, his family, and his life. The oath of succession could not be taken out of St. Thomas More's submission to his conscience, which was not directly an issue of faith but implicitly cited the truth of the marriage. As an example, the oath of succession is here to recognize that the children of Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn were legitimate. St. Thomas More had to recognize that it was a legitimate marriage, but it was not; it was in the context of adultery. He implicitly died in defense of the sanctity of marriage. So, even if it means going to prison, we must follow this example; this vaccine cannot be implemented. If Christians do not stand up and protest, even in the smallest case of one hiding in the shadows, this would be a very serious sin of omission. 

In a more literal sense, people say to pay your taxes, and some governments in some countries use a portion of the taxes to fund abortion. This is not comparable, please. This is a different case. In this case of taxes, it is a kind of theft because the government is stealing my money. Finally, I am opposed to my money being used for this, but these are general taxes. However, when I am concretely facing the issue of abortion, I have to decide for myself that I will not give my money when the government comes and asks me to finance abortions. I will say no; I will not give; I would rather die; I will die! I will not give you my money! So, when confronted with abortion via vaccine, I will say no and refuse to accept it because I am now entering a more personal, even if material, and more direct cooperation. This is evil! This is absolutely against my Christian witness.

My concrete, personal, individual confrontation with abortion is logically different from paying taxes; you cannot compare this and put it on the same level. In another case, in the first century, the Christians had to pay taxes to the Roman Empire. Even our Lord Jesus Christ said we give to Caesar what is Caesar's, the tax money. Christians and Apostles, on the other hand, were well aware that the Roman government diverted general tax funds to fund temple idolatry worship. As a result, the Apostles and the first Christians refused to cooperate, even with the Romans' idolatrous worship. When the government came to every Christian individually and proclaimed that you now have to collaborate with idolatry, of course, the Christians refused and chose to die. We will not do this. You see the difference between paying taxes in general and completely confronting yourself with this evil. 

The same correlation is presented for vaccines, which are tainted by abortion. This is a kind of grain of incense put here. Even the vaccine, which makes the case of only using cell lines for testing, is ultimately still the same. I would compare this vaccine, which directly contains only the cell lines, to the full grain of incense that is being offered to the idolatry of the Romans. For the vaccines that use the cell lines for testing only, I would compare them to half a grain of incense. If you burn half a grain of incense, it is still idolatrous worship. There is still a personal link between these evils, as in this case with idolatry and in the other with abortion.
