Question 64 – What Do Priests Do When The Archdiocese Mandates Abortion-Tainted Vaccines?

Interview Organization: Confraternity of Our Lady of Fatima
Interviewer Name: Christopher P. Wendt
Date: November 13, 2021
It is an abuse of power for a bishop to compel a priest to receive the vaccination as a condition of holding office, as this is not required by canon law. Supporting an immoral industry, especially one linked to abortion, is against God's law. Priests must act according to their conscience, even if it means losing their faculties. While these priests may face persecution, they can still secretly exercise their ministry, knowing it is temporary and trusting that God will intervene. Such directives from the bishop are invalid, and priests must choose to act in the service of their faith.
If you like what we do and want to regularly support our mission to build the Reign of Mary and/or assist the episcopal ministry of Bishop Athanasius Schneider, please consider becoming a Servant of Mary.

Transcript:

I think it is an abuse of power. A priest cannot be compelled to get the vaccination by a bishop as a condition of holding office. This is against canon law because it does not stipulate that the faculties must be immunized as a condition of use.

Thus, this is a misuse of authority. Because you cannot follow the bishop who is endorsing the vaccination tainted with abortion and, by extension, the terrible fatal industry, these priests must simply act under their consciences.

Supporting this industry is immoral. We are in no manner to cooperate with this industry since it is against the law of God to even evidently support it. Consequently, we must defy this order, even if it means that we could lose priestly faculties.

Despite losing their priestly faculties, I believe, in good conscience, they can still clandestinely exercise their faculties by going to families to hear confession, celebrate private masses, and anointing the sick. The bishop is engaging in persecution by acting like a persecutor, and supporting this fatal industry is obviously against God's law.

These directives or orders from the bishops are invalid. Hence, the priest must decide whether to accept the consequences, leave his diocese, or engage in clandestine ministry. Every clandestine predicament is only temporary. The Lord will then intervene.
