Question 168 – Will we have to die for the truth about the Latin Mass?

Interview Organization: Confraternity of Our Lady of Fatima
Interviewer Name: Christopher P. Wendt
Date: March 13, 2023
During England's penal laws, many saints were martyred for refusing to participate in Anglican worship, choosing the Traditional Mass instead. The government should not dictate our worship practices. If persecution arises, as seen in communist regimes, we may need to practice our faith underground. Ultimately, God will provide the necessary graces.
If you like what we do and want to regularly support our mission to build the Reign of Mary and/or assist the episcopal ministry of Bishop Athanasius Schneider, please consider becoming a Servant of Mary.

Transcript:

I do not know if this will occur, but during the persecution of Catholics in the penal laws in England, we had many saints from that era. They were forced to participate in Anglican worship, and because they refused, they were martyred. They preferred the Traditional Mass because there was only one Mass; the Traditional Mass that we celebrate is the same.

I think it is not the government’s decision to force us not to celebrate the Traditional Latin Mass. Should there be persecution, they will simply prohibit any form of participation and worship, just like what the communists did, and so on. In China, the state has linked churchmen and priests to collaborate on an anti-Christian regime a communist regime, or a Freemasonic world – one government regime having its bishops and priests that impose a specific kind of worship.

We cannot participate in such worship of bishops and priests who are heretics, and we will have to go underground. But time is in the hands of God; if the persecution comes, God will give us abundant necessary graces and help.
