Question 176 – How to prepare and make a good confession?

Interview Organization: Confraternity of Our Lady of Fatima
Interviewer Name: Christopher P. Wendt
Date: March 13, 2023
Asking God and your Guardian Angel to reveal your faults can be beneficial for self-reflection. Praying earnestly for guidance invites assistance in recognizing your sins. Additionally, seeking honest feedback from those close to you, such as family members or colleagues, can provide valuable insights into your errors.
If you like what we do and want to regularly support our mission to build the Reign of Mary and/or assist the episcopal ministry of Bishop Athanasius Schneider, please consider becoming a Servant of Mary.

Transcript:

I think it would be helpful to ask God and your Angel, “Please, my good brother Guardian Angel, tell me what's wrong I have done on this day.” When we earnestly pray to our Guardian Angel and ask him to remind us of our sins and faults, I believe he will recognize this and assist us as our Guardian Angel.

It is also possible to ask people whom you live with every day, “Please tell me what my errors are.” You can ask your husband or your wife, and you can even ask your adult children. You can also ask your colleagues at work, this may be helpful in some way.
