Well, having transgender or homosexual individuals as godparents contradicts the requirements for those who must be godparents. The basic requirement is to give the child an example of Christian life. In this case, when someone declares themselves to be transsexual, they are revolting against God's order. This is a grievous sin of rebellion against God's order.
Similarly, with homosexual activity, those who declare themselves as LGBT members are, by doing so, joining an anti-Christian, godless ideology that revolts against God's order, which created us as male and female. Therefore, if they do not repent, these individuals must repent. In the case of transsexuals, they must return to using the name of their biological sex, as they were born, and repent. Only then can they be godparents and be baptized, but only under the condition that they repent, return to their biological sex, and live a new life as good Christians. The same applies to homosexuals.
Those who cohabitate, even if they do not declare their cohabitation as a marriage, are still engaging in a scandal, a public scandal. It sends the message that we are engaging in something that goes against the Divine Order of creation, something that contradicts God's commandments and reason. Whether you call it homosexual, homoerotic, or homoaffective—whatever you call it—this is a betrayal of common sense and causes scandal.
Therefore, in this case, these so-called homosexual partners must stop their cohabitation, repent, and not declare themselves as members of the LGBT ideology or community, as they call it. They must live a new Christian life, and they are not being abandoned. The terminology of "transsexual" or "homosexual" is ideological, and we must reject it. There are only two kinds of people: male and female, and there is no third or fourth. We must abandon this misleading and ideological terminology and tell these individuals that they are either male or female. This is God's grace, and we will help them with prayers and other means so that they can live according to what they truly are male and female, to glorify God in the body and the life that God created for them. Even if they face challenges and psychological struggles, with God's grace, they can overcome all of these.
A person who wants to be baptized must accept the Catholic faith and Catholic morals. This is indispensable, and they must repent of their sins. This is the first preaching of Jesus Christ: Repent and believe in the gospel, which is the truth. As Peter preached to all, "Repent and be baptized."
In this case, when a transgender person wants to be baptized, they must first repent and believe in the truth.
