To grow in holiness, deepen your prayer life, as prayer connects you to God and His grace. Align your will with God's, loving His will and commandments. Lastly, embrace and unite your cross with Christ's, especially through participation in the Eucharist, where His sacrifice is made present.

Transcript:

First, I think it is indispensable to deepen your prayer life. Everything depends on prayer. Prayer is the interior union with God, and when you are united with the Lord, He gives you His grace and strength, helping you to grow in holiness. This is foundational learning to love prayer, deepening your prayer, increasing in prayer, and living in it.

Second, it is important to love the will of God. St. Maximilian Kolbe once asked, "What is sanctity and holiness?" He responded by saying that a small "w" represents our will, and a large "W" represents God's will. Our small will must be aligned with God's great will. This is the whole program of our life: to strive, with God's grace, to adapt and conform our will to God's will. Simply put, to love God's will and to love His commandments more and more. This is beautifully expressed in Psalm 18 or 19 (depending on how you count). This long and profound psalm praises a life devoted to the will of God.

Third, I would say it is essential to accept and embrace the cross. Uniting your cross with the will of God is uniting with the cross of Christ. This is His sacrifice. The best way to do this is through participation in the Holy Mass, where the cross of Christ, His sacrifice, is made present. By developing a deep Eucharistic life, you unite yourself with the Cross of Christ.
