Interview Organization: Confraternity of Our Lady of Fatima
Interviewer Name: Christopher P. Wendt
If you remain honest and faithful, God will never abandon you, as He is always with you, witnessing your conscience. Living according to God's commands shapes your conscience, despite opposition. Saints like Thomas More and John Fisher exemplified unwavering faith, standing firm for truth, even unto martyrdom. God will always guide and encourage you.

If you are honest and faithful, God will never abandon you because God is with you and he is the closest witness to your conscience. If you are faithfully carrying out what is right, you are never alone.

Of course, living a life of faith, following God's commands, and submitting to his Holy Will is necessary for shaping the conscience. There will be opposition from those around you, but God is with you, so do not be afraid. The heroic saints – St. Thomas More and St. John Fisher are two examples. They did not compromise their conscience or, by implication, their beliefs. St. John Fisher did not heed the ecclesiastical and political demands of Henry VIII concerning the matter of Henry VIII's divorce and remarriage.

They were the great English martyrs who died as a result of standing up for the truth that was in their conscience and others followed their footsteps to martyrdom. Never lose hope whenever encountering hardships and challenges because God is always with us and will never stop encouraging us to be uncompromising.
